Sisi Inaugurates New Terminal Complex in Hurghada International Airport
 Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has inaugurated today the new terminal complex of Hurghada International Airport, with an annual passenger capacity of 7.5 million. In this respect, Mahmoud Esmat - Chairman of the Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation (EHCAAN) - stated that the new terminal complex project is part of EHCAAN's strategy to develop and increase the passenger capacity for the country's airports to 75 million. The new terminal will raise Hurghada International Airport's total absorptive capacity by 115% to 13 million annually, from 6.5 million, he noted. Furthermore, the Egyptian official referred that the three-level new terminal has a total built-up area of 92.000 metres features 72 check-in countries, 20 departure halls, a duty-free shop, in addition to a new 4 kilometre long, 60 metre wide runway, at a cost of EGP 486 million. It also includes a new airfield. The new terminal is with total investment of EGP 2.3 billion.
