Major General Amr Hanafi , Red Sea Governor , received a convoy of the Tahya Misr Fund, “The Gates of Goodness”, to support the most vulnerable families at Hurghada
The convoy comes in light of the launch of the largest humanitarian aid convoy at the governorate level, It will be distributed to the most vulnerable families and needy groups in the cities of (Hurghada - Ras Ghareb - Safaga - El Quseir) on the occasion of the International Day of Charity Work in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Solidarity and the participation of 20 civil society organizations.
The governor explained that it coincided with the celebration of the International Day of Charity Work and on the occasion of the initiative launched by the President of the Republic yesterday to launch the largest humanitarian aid convoy at the level of the Republic.
Hanafi pointed out that the Tahya Misr Fund convoy in Alexandria governorate provides large quantities of food, medical and other materials, which are distributed to the beneficiaries in the governorate in coordination with the Directorate of Social Solidarity, the Directorate of Health and all concerned parties.
Red Sea Governor praised the role played by the Long Live Egypt Fund and all civil society institutions in providing a decent life for citizens, in light of the President’s directives to extend the umbrella of social protection for these groups.
He also praised the initiatives launched by civil society organizations and NGOs to join forces with the government’s efforts to provide support and relief to the most vulnerable families in the governorate.
Hanafi praised the extent of harmony and concerted efforts that exist between the various state institutions to provide aspects of support and care for the most vulnerable groups. | | | | | 8/9/2021 | | |
