Manchester City may experience an unexpected twist this weekend in their Premier League title race with Leicester. They could rediscover winning ways against Leicester in a game which could determine their future success.

The Foxes have struggled recently and need a win against Man City to wriggle out of danger. A point against Man City would go a long way towards helping them secure safety.

Never in Premier League history has the title been so close to being secured as it is this season. Leicester was only one point ahead of City in January before winning their games against Arsenal and Tottenham without dropping points, which recalls Arsenal's historic 2011/12 campaign.

Pep Guardiola's Manchester City have been an ever-present threat to Manchester United this season and stand a good chance of claiming their fourth title in five years with eight matches remaining. But they are currently under scrutiny from the Premier League following allegations they broke numerous financial rules.

Leicester and Man City both face tough matches this weekend but my pick would be for Leicester to draw 1-1 against Man City and stay alive in their survival bid. They drew 2-2 away against Brighton last week and will have come out more determined than before.
Arsenal have the opportunity to pull four points clear of United with a victory against Leeds while Tottenham could also move four places into fourth position with victory against Newcastle at home. All six-eight teams will qualify for European spots, yet competition for those final two spots could be fierce.

Southampton have made impressive gains under Ruben Selles and may yet save themselves from relegation; but to do so, they cannot afford to drop another point here. Their last five games (in all competitions) ended in losses, making the next nine matches against Crystal Palace, Bournemouth and Fulham vital ones to secure survival.

They possess a knack of pulling off surprises, and the key will be whether they can beat City at St Mary's and secure three points in return.
Man City are in great shape to secure the title, even after suffering defeat against West Ham at the weekend. A home win against Southampton should put them in prime position to claim it as they look to recreate the same form that saw them win easily at Etihad back in January and dispatch an easily beatable Saints side.

As Arsenal and Manchester City remain locked in a close race for one of four premiership spots, nine other teams are grappling for survival.

Everton have enjoyed solid form recently and are two points clear of the relegation zone. Unfortunately, their recent defeat against Wolves leaves the Toffees with much work ahead of them.
On Monday night they face Tottenham, who are fighting hard to keep hold of fifth place and qualify for the Champions League next season. This should be an extremely competitive match-up that could end in a draw.
